Candidate Forums Engage and Educate Voters

The League of Women Voters of Marin County works to foster an informed and engaged electorate. As part of this effort, we proudly partner with various community organizations to host candidate forums, which serve as essential platforms for voters to connect with candidates and make informed decisions during elections.

For the August 29, 2023 Special Election, we partnered with The Ark Newspaper to host a candidate forum with both candidates running for a short term seat on the Tiburon Town Council . Watch the recording HERE

As a nonpartisan organization, the League of Women Voters of Marin County remains dedicated to ensuring that our candidate forums present a fair and balanced platform for all candidates. Our goal is not to endorse specific individuals or parties, but to facilitate meaningful dialogue and provide voters with the information they need to choose the leaders who will best represent their interests.
